My hair looked better in person than it does in this picture *le sigh* Anyway, I just fell in love with this quirky little top from New Look! It was cheap and is really comfy. I added to the animal vibe with my leopard print flats!

Snake skin

I snagged this snake skin blouse the other day for a steal at $7.00 from Kohl's.  I wore it under a dress with J. Crew pearls.

Cheap and Chic

The weather has been lovely here lately. Not quite warm enough to go without leggings but I didn't really need this cardigan. This is a new dress from Penneys. They have some really pretty and cheap things in for the spring time. Bird prints are THE thing in style here at the moment but I've always liked it. Hubby wasn't too sure about this dress because he thought the cream colour didn't really suit me...I appreciated his honesty but thought he was wrong. What do you think?

A bit short!

I wore a striped dress to work not long ago on casual Friday.  I think it might have been a bit short! I love the pop of color from the Dorothy Perkins cardigan that Shea gave me! For accessories I added a glass heart necklace from Shea's etsy store.

Rory's Christening

Saturday was my son's Christening and my chance to wear a new dress (like I need a reason really!). My dress is from New Look and the cardigan is from Dorothy Perkins. I wish I had some better pics of just the outfit for you but the focus on the day wasn't what I was wearing! It was a nice ceremony and Rory was very well behaved! He didn't make a peep when the priest poured the water over his head. I was happy my parents were able to be there for it and they stood in for the godparents who couldn't make it. We had a lovely dinner afterwards in town and a few drinks to celebrate! :D

YWCA Martini Tasting

The YWCA is the Young Women's Christian Association. It is quite similar to the YMCA and has a lot of cool programs for women and girls in Lincoln. I recently joined the Lincoln YWCA board.  They had a Martini Tasting shindig not long ago. Several bars in the city made their best signature martini and attendees voted for their favorite.  I wore a J. Crew silk ruffled camisole, abstract print cardigan from Target, and Express blue pencil skirt.  I added Nine West animal print shoes for fun.
